About Us
While the physical library is currently closed during the COVID-19 crisis, our library staff is here virtually to support students and staff and in the library to fulfill book orders and instructional opportunities.
We are available by email and will be keeping our social media up to date. Please reach out if you are in need of assistance.
The Library is an integral part of the school community at Lamoille Union High School and Middle School. We encourage students and faculty to explore and investigate for personal pleasure, class research, and for professional development. The Library offers a welcoming environment where all patrons can work productively. We believe that the library is for everyone and strive to cultivate a collection of materials to support everyone, where everyone can see themselves represented. The Library maintains a well-developed collection of over 19,000 books tailored to the high school and middle school curricula.

eBooks, Audiobooks, or paper books: My eyes and ears aren't what they used to be, so it's the paper book for me. Plus I used to work for Houghton Mifflin Harcourt so I'm biased.
Activities outside school: Trying to stay sane, and that takes many different forms, depending on so many different factors, but in general I enjoy watching interesting television or films, going to Burlington for some culture and retail therapy, indoor gardening, photography, and graphic design. Oh, and read the occasional book.
Favorite Breakfast Food: I don't normally eat breakfast, but if someone else were to cook it for me, I wouldn't turn down an omelet with American cheese and mushrooms, hash browns, a side order of bacon and rye toast. (I order this every time I go to any Greek diner).
Favorite Color: Azure Blue
Favorite Place on Earth: Aitutaki, one of the Cook Islands in Polynesia
If you could morph two animals to make one super animal, what two animals would you choose? A Panther and a Tiger. Black with orange and white stripes? Would be chic-looking, I think.
